This triangular roast originates from the bottom sirloin. Great for grilling or smoking, marinating or roasting, this cut is rich in meaty flavor and leaner than most roasts. Can also be used to make tacos, sandwiches, or fajitas.
Tri tip roasts used to be hard to find in stores, but are making a comeback as a lean red meat option. Since it's so lean, it can be tough if not handled well. Packed full of beef flavor!
